Tom Corbin, Ph.D., C.A., R.T. (Fl Lic AP #0000790)

Tom Corbin is a certified acupuncturist and was trained in both the United States and Nanjing, China. Tom currently teaches and does research in acupuncture with a concentration on auricular medicine. In addition to his position as a registered trainer for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA), he also served on the board of directors and has taught auricular medicine for international societies.

Samuel de la Pava, MD, CA (FL Lic AP #0000622)

Samuel de la Pava obtained his medical degree from National University in Bogotá, Colombia, and became certified by the American Board of Pathology in 1960. He was Associate Chief Pathologist for Cancer Research at the Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo NY, Director of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology in St. Jerome Hospital in Batavia NY, Associate Professor of Pathology at El Rosario School of Medicine in Bogotá, and Director of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology at St. Jerome Hospital in Batavia. He has retired from general practice to teach. As a licensed Florida acupuncturist, he teaches Western and Eastern Medicine and supervises Intern Clinical practice at ATOM.

Aly Yasser E-Sergany, MD

Graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 1978, Dr. El-Sergany did his surgical residency in Ireland for 8 years when he passed his board exam in general surgery. In 1986 he spent 5 years practicing medicine as a general and cardio-thoracic surgeon in England. He passed the American board exam in 1994 and started to work as a clinical fellow in emergency medicine in Hartford hospital in Connecticut in 1995. He was offered the position of senior physician in family practice in Florida in 1997 and then was promoted as medical director. Currently he is the adjunct professor of surgery and medicine at Nova School of Medicine. Since 1998 he has been a faculty of the American College of Surgeons and the American Heart Association. Doctor El-Sergany received his board certification in Family Practice in 2003. Here at ATOM he teaches Physical Examinations course.

Claire Fitch, MS, AP, (FL Lic. AP#0001706)

Claire Fitch is an ATOM graduate who holds a Master in OM and Master in Cellular/Molecular Biology (from FAU). She has been a medical laboratory technologist for 30 years. She maintains her own Oriental Medicine practice in Ft. Lauderdale. She is also an adjunct professor at University of Phoenix and Miami Dade Community College. She teaches Lab Tests and, AIDS Update at ATOM.

Di Fu, M.D. (China), C.A. (FL Lic AP #0000595)

Di Fu is a Florida-licensed acupuncturist who obtained his medical degree in China. He has taught in Florida for a dozen of years, and is the Faculty Dean at the Institute, teaching specialized areas of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He is also an adjunct professor teaching acupuncture at the University of Miami. He maintains his busy practice in his own clinic in Coral Springs, Florida.

Yihong Hao, MD, CA (FL Lic AP #0000508)

After receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees in medicine in 1989 from Henan College of TCM and Beijing University of TCM, Yihong Hao conducted research into the cause and symptoms of senility for many years. She has lectured in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at the Beijing University of TCM. She is a licensed Acupuncturist and teaches courses on Acupuncture Theory, the Materia Medica at the Institute. At present, she is doing residency as a MD in the Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami.
